Transportation Changes

St. James Elementary requires written notification for a change to be made to student transportation NO LATER THAN 1:30 PM each day. Parents must send a written note to the child's teacher with the parent's signature and contact number to use for verification.

ALL AFTERNOON CAR RIDERS MUST BE PICKED UP IN THE CAR RIDER LOOP. THERE IS NO OFFICE PICKUP. Exceptions will be made for doctor, dentist, etc. appointments. The student will need to be signed out by 2:10 PM. Please do not ask to sign your child out after 2:15 PM, unless you have an emergency. We do not interrupt classes during the last 15 minutes of the day as this is the time homework and notices to go home are given out and any special instructions for the next day. You will need to send a note to school if your child is going to be picked up by 2:10 PM.

Drivers should remain in the car as students are picked up. Car Tags are to be hung in your car when you are picking up your child/children from the car rider line. If you don't have a Car Tag you will need to report to the front office to sign your child/children out from school and obtain a Car Tag. Make sure you bring in your ID. School dismisses at 2:30 PM and all car riders should be picked up by 2:45 PM each day.
