Technology/Rubix Cube Club

Our technology club provides students with hands-on learning opportunities to explore technology:
  • Coding and technology: Students can learn to code and interact with technology they might not normally see. 
  • Engineering, design, and innovation: Students can learn about engineering, design, and innovation. 
  • Tinker with devices: Students can learn how devices work by taking them apart and putting them back together. 
  • Problem solving: Students can practice problem solving skills through team-based projects. 
  • Digital citizenship: Students can learn about internet safety and digital citizenship. 
Our rubix club teaches students problem-solving and creative-thinking skills. It can also help students learn to focus:
  • Learning math
    Rubik's Cube lessons can teach math concepts like area, volume, fractions, decimals, and algebra. 
  • Improving concentration
    Solving a Rubik's Cube requires sustained attention and mental effort, which can help students improve their concentration. 
  • Building hand-eye coordination
    The Rubik's Cube is a great manipulative that can help students build hand-eye coordination. 
  • Developing critical thinking skills
    Students can develop critical thinking skills through the challenges of solving a Rubik's Cube. 
  • Learning to cooperate
    Students can learn how to cooperate with each other in the club.
