The purpose of Dolphin Council is to develop and promote leadership skills, build awareness and respect for all people, and build a partnership between the school and the community through service.
St. James Elementary Dolphin Council students are composed of 3rd & 4th grade students. All 3rd grade students are nominated by their homeroom teachers at the beginning of the school year. Dolphin Council representatives and officers lead and organize school-wide sponsoring Food Drives as well as other philanthropic endeavors. Meetings are once a month after school to determine our fundraising efforts, create posters to advertise our events, and discuss how we can best help our school and community, both local and international.
